Beer Pong

BP Babyyyy!!!!!

im not really sure if beer pong has any connection what so ever to new media but im going to find one.

i personally love to play beer pong. mainly because im good at it and i really enjoy the taste of a nice fresh beer. Beer Pong is a simple game that consists of two ping pong balls and twenty two solo cups. beer pong can be played on many surfaces from long tables to short tables to islands in your kitchen to god knows what. i personally think that beer pong should be considered Americas past time. god so many good times come from a beer pong table. theres no feeling like the feeling you get when u sink that last cup. also for many of you that dont know playing beer pong is a good way to pick up ladies, especially if u are playing against them. now remember kids the more she drinks the hotter you look 😉 also if u can show her that you know whats up by fuckin shit up at pong then she is going to want your junk so bad and she’ll pounce on you like a cheetah. and if your reading this right now and saying omg really? then your a moron. if u have no game with the ladies then beer pong isnt going to help you, itll just get u drunk. now that im done bullshitting its time to get down to business….

now when you play beer pong it is kinda like the model for 2 way communication. because the ball being thrown from my hand is a message which when landing in the cup has reached the reciever who decodes that thought and takes a cup away then takes his shot which is like sending back annother message or replying

Best Buy

today i put in an application at a local bestbuy. and i did it right from my home. all i had to do was go to and look for a career link and viola. its amazing that today people are able to submit an application through the internet. it was so simple and took only 20 minutes of my time. even though it asked me every question from what i like to do, to my cup size ha just kidding. it did ask me a lot of questions on how i would react to certain situations. so in a sense it gave me an interview too. but the whole point behind this is that new media is everywhere now. like this form of new media represents automation if im correct which is basically trying to digitally replace applications. its simply incredible how fast technology is moving forward…

well i pretty much ran out of things to say so im just going to talk about the new super smash bros. game thats coming out soon. god i cannot wait for that co come out its nearly killing me. for like the last couple weeks ive been going over my friends house to play smash bros. melee its just soo much fun. even though i suck i still enjoy playing. i cant wait for brawl to come out and im just going to use solid snake all the time. god these next couple moths are gunna be fantastic.

The Age of the n00b

There nothing more fun than jumping on xbox live and and popping in halo 3. i love video games soooooooo much. even though i don’t let them run my life i still enjoy the trill of sticking someone with a spike grenade or shooting someone with a spartan laser. but the one thing that always ruins the thrill of the game is when you have an annoying ass kid that is screaming “boom head shot” or “wow noob you suck”. its amazing how tuff people get when your not face to face and your hundreds of miles away. i couldn’t tell you how many times i’ve been playing a game on xbox live and had to set a kid in his place because he feels like hes hot shit and that hes the hardest dude to have ever lived. i just don’t get how kids that are obviously 11, due to the fact that they talk like they are on helium, get they’re hands on a game thats only suitable for people that are over the age of 17. but when i was playing last night i really started to think about how much really goes into these video games. video games these days have amazing graphics and have so much interactivity that it is ridiculous. like when you speak into your micro phone a little speaker image shows up to show that your speaking. when i was playing i was thinking about how much new media is involved in video games. the fact that when u hit a button and the game reacts to what you just did. its amazing how games have so much packed into them that you don’t even notice.

The Diary of the 21st Century

I remember that not more than five or six years ago my sisters used to keep diaries in a little lock book under they’re beds. Now if they kept a diary the old fashioned way they’d be looked at like a four eyed freak. haha it just goes to show how times change so quickly. i don’t want to know what its going to be like in five more years. i mean the change from diaries to blogs has changed so quickly. I just wonder what its going to be like in the future. Whats going to replace blogs in the near future? only time will tell. i love to watch technology take its course. look at video game systems. they are constantly being upgraded or replaced. video games came out fifteen to twenty years ago and there are already more types of consoles than i can count on one hand. technology gets better and better, year by year. when it comes to new technology the possibilities are endless. which is why i feel that the future is so promising. i cannot wait to see what the future brings because i love technology and i cant get enough of it. i love playing video games and using computers and i just cant wait for more and better things to come along.
